combat mechanics

Last updated 2 years ago

The combat mechanics in PokeMeta games are turn-based games. Players need to use up to 6 sprites to destroy all enemies. Players need to strategize by considering the formation and position of the sprites to maximize the probability of winning.

About the attack sequence

Usually, both sides will attack the sprites in the front row first in the battle. When the front row elves have 0 HP, they are considered dead. The next round will continue to attack the elves in the back row. Therefore, in terms of stance, generally put the elves with high defense or HP in the front row, and the aggressive elves in the back row to ensure maximum damage output.

About the attack and anger mechanics

In each round, the opponent will attack or release skills sequentially according to the order of the cards. Every time the elf takes damage, it will accumulate a certain amount of rage. When the anger is full, the next attack will release the anger skill.

About the number of rounds and victory conditions

After each character on both sides completes an attack, it is a round. Players may need to go through multiple rounds of combat to defeat their opponents. In the testing phase, the winning condition is that the player needs to eliminate all enemy characters within the turn.
